JOB OVERVIEW:
Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Work Location: Cox’sbazar
Job Type: Permanent / Contractual
Compensation: As per the industry standard
Hours of Work: 6 days, 9 AM – 5 PM
JOB PURPOSE:
– Establishment of the Quality Management System (QMS) in Shorobor Warehouse, Cox’s Bazar
Objectives of this role
- Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency — with proper satisfaction as the primary goal — by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods
- Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
- Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and service
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping
- Schedule and oversee the warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency.
- Represent Shorobor during quality inspections by WFP / Regulatory agencies / Certification bodies.
- Development of quality system policy, procedures, instructions
Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Development and Document control processes - Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary
- Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention.
- Prepare Commodities Inspection Report
- Sampling the product
- Pest Control Monitoring
- Carry out calibration processes
- Analysis of product to aid in continual improvement initiatives
- Purchasing controls and performing supplier evaluation i.e Quality
- Assurance at upstream and downstream
- Sorting processes and controls (Temperature and hygiene method)
- Development of product acceptance criteria
- Establish Quality Checking at the offloading and loading points
- Maintenance and preservation of Quality, Design, and Device records
- Evaluate the impact on risk management

Technical
– Knowledge of Food Quality issues

REQUIREMENTS:
– Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from any discipline
– Work Experience: At least 1 year of experience in relevant industries
– Training: QMS and/or FSQ is preferred
– Personal Attributes: Soft-spoken with honest character. Must be a non-smoker.
