Harif, is dried Chili powder (মরিচ গুঁড়া). It’s a must have spice. It gives hot taste and red color in our everyday curries. Harif contains capsaicin, antioxidants, and carotenoids. It’s an excellent source of both iron and manganese.
Although it perks up the dishes giving an overpowering taste, Harif should be used in moderation.
